Lark Lane has for years been one of Liverpool's most famous streets, famed for its eclectic mix of independent restaurants, bars and shops.

Today, customers head there week on week to visit its traditional pubs, quirky boutiques and more. But like many other areas, as the decades have went on, we have seen a number of changes.

These photos, courtesy of our archives, Mirrorpix, offer a glimpse into Lark Lane's past. From lost businesses to people who worked on the street and pedestrians going about their day to day lives, many will remember it as it looks here.
