A suspected drug dealer was arrested after police could smell cannabis from outside a flat.
Plain clothes officers on duty in Huyton on November 9, attended a block of flats after they noticed the smell of cannabis coming from one of the properties. Once inside the flat, officers found what was believed to be around £5,000 worth of cocaine, 1kg of cannabis resin, a quantity of cannabis bush, a luxury watch and mobile phones.
As a result, a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A and B drugs with intent to supply and possession of controlled property. He was taken to a police station in Merseyside for questioning and was subsequently released on bail pending further investigation.
