Today, Church Street still welcomes thousands of visitors. But through the years, we've seen a number of businesses change, from shops and retailers to traders.
All taken on July 16, 1989, these photos show what the Liverpool street looked like at the time, those who shopped there and street traders at the end of a busy day.
