A road in Tranmere is currently cordoned off after reports of a house fire.
There is currently a large emergency services presence on Downham Road in Tranmere and Park Road. Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said it is responding to reports of a "house fire".
Merseyside Police also said it is in attendance. It is not yet known whether anyone is in the property. One witness told the ECHO that a cordon is currently in place around a house on Park Road. The witness said: "Looks like a house corner of Park Road. Both sides are taped off and entrance is blocked with police cars."

The witness claims there was a similar incident on the same road on Bonfire Night. This has not been confirmed by police.
Merseyside Police and Mersey Fire and Rescue have been contacted for more information.
