Eight amazing photos from the Runcorn firework display
Crowds have been blown away by a huge firework display in Runcorn this evening. Bonfire Night, or Guy Fawkes Night, has a long history and marks the anniversary of the failure of the Gunpowder Plot in 1605. In more recent years, we've seen huge fireworks displays across the city. This year many council sponsored fireworks displays have been cancelled. However, in Runcorn people gathered to watch the fireworks which took place atop Runcorn Silver Jubilee Bridge.
