A man was surrounded by police and led from a city centre bookmakers after the store was "damaged".
Merseyside Police were called to Whitechapel in Liverpool City Centre just before 4.15pm on Wednesday, November 1 following an incident. It was reported to police a man had damaged several items inside Betfred.
Videos taken at the scene show dozens of people outside the bookmakers recording on their mobile phones as police can be seen inside the shop. A further video showed a man surrounded by five police officers being led through the city centre towards a police van.

Merseyside Police has now confirmed a man in his 30s was detained at the shop. There were no reports of injuries following the incident.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "Just before 4.15pm this afternoon we received a report that a man had damaged several items inside a betting shop on Whitechapel, Liverpool. Officers detained a man in his 30s at the shop in Whitechapel.
"No injuries have been reported to police at present. Officers remain at the shop to continue their enquiries."
