A stunning flat which was converted from an old church is now on the market.

Situated on Admiral Street, the former Belvidere Baptist Church in Princes Park, Toxteth was built in 1862 and was originally a Wesleyan Methodist church called St Johns before it reformed in 1950. Back in 2016, the church was sold to ECAM Properties and transformed into flats.

The development was named Lilli May Mews and featured 20 homes, from one bed apartments to three bedroom townhouses, for sale and rent. Tom Wright-Evans, 25, and his partner Dan Pearson, 29, have lived in their two-bedroom apartment for a number of years.

Inside their home, the couple restored some of the church's original features, including some of the masonry work of the altar and the original vestry door, which was now the main entrance to their property.
