Traffic is being held on the M62 due to a "police incident".
According to traffic management system Inrix, traffic has been stopped and is stationary in both directions of the M62 from junction 10 M6 J21A (Croft Interchange) to junction 11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood).
National Highways has declared the incident as "severe". Inrix said: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to police incident on M62 in both directions from J10 M6 J21A (Croft Interchange) to J11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood)."
