Lorraine Kelly has been supported as she announced a social media break.
The Scottish presenter is renowned for her role fronting the ITV self titled chat show. The 63-year-old regularly keeps fans updated with her life away from the screen.
However, she has confirmed she will be temporarily stepping away from keeping her fans updated on X, formerly known as Twitter. Lorraine told her 743,800 followers: "Morning.

"Having a twitter break – its all gone a bit dark – find me on instagram @lorrainekellysmith for mostly cute photos of my dog."
Fans took to the comments to support Lorraine after the update. Julia said: "Will miss you."
Chris commented: "That’s a pity." Joe commented: "The light is still out here. Always here just look behind the clouds."
Lorraine will return in her usual role to front the chat show on ITV at 9am. The presenter interviewed Liverpool legend Les Dennis on Tuesday's edition of the show ahead of his stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
Les was joined by his partner Nancy Xu on the sofa as they start their bid to win the Glitterball. Lorraine urged fans to not underestimate the older contestants in the competition, which prompted Les to reveal he has the same birthday as fellow contestant, Angela Rippon. He said: "I will be 70 on October 12. She will be. … I don't want to give it away but she is amazing."
Lorraine heaped praise on Les' age defying appearance as she said: "You just threw away there that you're 70 next month. I can't believe that. That's ridiculous." She added: "That's astonishing." Les shot back: "Thanks. I don't look 70 but I did once. Something like this re-energises you.
"I keep getting challenges like a couple of years ago I did my first opera. When you're given a new challenge, it gives you a new vitality. Anybody who is thinking I can't do it at the age I'm at. That's what I'm hoping I can prove to you that you can face any challenge."
