Good Morning Britain's Ben Shephard was "flattered" as he reacted to a Coronation Street character's obsession.
The broadcaster fronted Thursday's edition of the ITV news programme alongside Kate Garraway. The two were joined by Richard Arnold as they discussed the latest entertainment news.
The showbiz correspondent reacted to a scene in last night's Corrie as Mary and George Shuttleworth discussed their funeral plans. The character, played by Patti Clare, has previously detailed her love for the Tipping Point host.

She explained that she longs for a Ben themed send off and for her coffin to be designed as her bed. The broadcasters were in hysterics as Richard proceeded to show Mary themed drapes that he joked were Ben's.
The host said he is always inundated with messages whenever he is mentioned on the long-running ITV soap. He said his great auntie is a particularly big fan of the storyline as he said: "She is always beside herself because she's a big fan."
The host proceeded to issue his thanks to the soap's writers as he said: "Thank you to Coronation Street. It's very flattering and its really hilarious."
