As we reach autumn, it's very clear what the colour of the season is going to be in a number of different high street stores.
Red is set to be a popular colour this year, with an array of different daring red items already filling high street stores such as River Island. The popular retailer often shares new and exciting products to its 2.4m followers on Instagram.
This time, it was a bold Red Button Front Waistcoat priced at £38 that proved popular online. The waistcoat was shared to a reel, along with bright red trousers, a blazer and a wrap top.

On the Instagram post, the full caption read: "Red alert! The season’s hottest colour is here [strawberry emoji]." The waistcoat features a v-neck and is sleeveless.
In the comments, one shopper said: "That red waistcoat [loveheart eye emoji]."
