Pastry products have been recalled from Aldi, Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's recalled due to safety fears.
The Compleat Food Group, which produces food items for major supermarkets, announced it was recalling some of its chilled pastry products due as some of them may contain small pieces of metal and plastic. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said this would make the items unsafe to eat.
The FSA said if you have bought any of the products do not eat them. Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund. Point of sale notices have been issued to customers and these notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
