Shoppers have been praising £7 tie-dye satin pyjamas that they're planning to wear outside – and after seeing them for myself, I would do the same.
As Primark doesn’t have an online shop, the retailer uses its Instagram page to let its 10.3 million followers know what's new or popular in store. This includes its latest clothing, footwear, homeware and more.
Primark shared an image on Instagram earlier this month showing the new pyjama collection. The post, which has since racked up nearly 7,000 likes, was captioned: “Our two loves: satin and tie-dye [love heart eye emoji] Prices from £7.”

The image on Instagram shows the pyjama collection which consists of a strappy satin maxi pyjama dress, a matching satin vest top and shorts, and a long sleeve pyjama satin shirt with matching trousers.
The pyjama collection:
I decided to take another trip to Liverpool’s Primark to go on the hunt for the satin pyjama collection as last time I looked for them, they hadn’t yet arrived in store – but this time I was in luck and they had the full collection.
I spotted the collection instantly as the bright, bold colours popped out from the rest of the pyjamas in Primark. I instantly fell in love with the colours – they feature a bold blue, coral, brown and white tie dye print.
My size was available in all of the pyjama collection apart from the satin shorts which I was disappointed at as I find pyjama shorts so comfy but I was still eager to try the rest of the collection on.
The verdict:
Firstly, I tried on the satin pyjama pants with the matching satin cami vest top. The satin material was so comfy and soft and when I tucked the vest top into the trousers, it looked like a jumpsuit.
I also found an orange pyjama cami vest top that I tried on with the trousers. I definitely preferred this look over the matching cami vest top as it made a bold statement against the printed trousers.
Next I tried on the satin midi nighty dress which I would definitely wear on holiday as it looked like a midi dress – it also had a slit on the right leg which dressed it up. I put my buckle sandals on with them when trying it on and could imagine myself wearing this outfit in the sun.
Overall, I would definitely wear the pyjamas on holiday but I wouldn't go as far to wear them in the UK.
