Liverpool is set for a mixed weekend of weather as one of the biggest events return to the city.

Pride in Liverpool will be taking over Liverpool this Saturday, July 29. The free festival will see members of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies take to the streets to protest against bigotry and hatred while coming together to celebrate and enjoy a packed programme of entertainment.

Rain has done little to dampen the spirits of the hundreds of people who celebrate Pride previously and we expect this year to be no different. Pride celebrations will be happening throughout a number of locations including Mann Island, the Pride Quarter, the Pier Head and St Nicholas Church.

Speeches begin from around 11:15am and the march will leave St George’s hall at approximately noon. The march is estimated to last between 45 minutes and one hour.
