A teenage boy was found dead early this morning.
Emergency services were called to Westminster Road area in Kirkdale at around 7.30am on Sunday January 29 to reports of a death. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.
Merseyside Police are not treating the death as suspicious. Witnesses reported seeing a large number of emergency service vehicles at the scene, including scientific support officers and ambulances.

North West Ambulance Service paramedics left the scene at around 10.15am, with the last of the police leaving shortly after.
The boy's next of kin have been informed and a file will be passed to the coroner by Merseyside Police.
