Fortnite will not be down for an update today but changes to the game will be coming soon.
As the Mirror has reported, there has only been one major update since Chapter 4 Season 3 launched last month. Summer Escape saw several new skins, weapons and emotes added to the game. Summer-themed missions to obtain these items included using a launchpad to propel yourself into the air before taking a dip into a lagoon.
With Summer Escape ending today, many players had been hoping for new content. However, the latest update has been delayed due to a company-wide holiday at Epic Games, the developers, and will be released next week on July 25.

While we won't have the Fortnite update 25.20 for another week, thanks to the official Fortnite Trello board we know some of the issues and fixes Epic Games are targeting for the upcoming update. The following changes are listed as ' Fixed in a future game update' and are likely to be included in Fortnite Update 25.20:

Multiple outfits, including Skull Trooper may appear shiny/glossy.

Players may have delayed credit toward the "Damage Opponents" Ranked quest or may find that the full weapon damage is not credited toward a Ranked quest.
Meanwhile the following issues are also listed on the Trello board, but as these don't have the 'Fixed in a future game update' label, they may not be included in Fortnite update 25.20:

After being in a match some PS4 and PS5 players may find they have lost most game audio and voice chat has become distorted.

An issue where some players may be receiving a "Failed to initialise BattlEye Service: Driver Load Error (1275)" error message when launching Fortnite on Windows 11.

Shadows may appear darker than intended in the Airphoria island on PC.

An issue preventing players from purchasing the Airphoria bundle if it was previously refunded.

Players on PS5 and Xbox Series X may crash out of Fortnite when scrolling past Mjolnir's Flight glider in their locker.

The Maxx Axe Pickaxe sound effects can no longer be heard despite the sound volume setting.

Meow Skulls appears to be missing her tail when any Back Bling is equipped with the outfit.

The rings on the Airbound Eyes contrail are pink/red instead of blue like the thumbnail displays.

When using the Crowning Achievement Emote in non Battle Royale modes the count does not display the players actual number of Crowns.

The Cozy Chomps Outfit's second style "No Tail" still has a tail

While using a Pet Carrier back bling, you are still able to see pets even while Mudded. This is not intended and the team is investigating a fix.
It isn’t guaranteed that all of these will be fixed in the next update. Gamers are most likely to find out which ones will be included after Epic Games staff return from holiday.
