As Taylor Swift fans scrambled to secure their tickets for the Anfield shows today in the presale, many will have began to research where to stay over in Liverpool.
The Anfield area itself has a range of hotels to stay in. Many hotels have pubs and bars attached which are frequented by Liverpool FC fans on matchdays.
With three gigs taking place in June 2024, there won’t be any football on, leaving space for Swifties. Here is a selection of the best places to stay around Anfield, as well as some in town that are within half an hour of the stadium by car or public transport.
Hotel TIA
Hotel TIA is a boutique hotel a stone’s throw away from the stadium. The family run business boasts an outdoor terrace with stunning views out to Stanley Park and has a five star rating from 70 reviews on TripAdvisor.
It is also connected to Taggy’s Bar, a favourite of many reds pre and post-matches with its huge beer garden serving food and drink. Prices start from around £77 and there is free cancellation. One reviewer said: “You will not go wrong here for the price. The photos don’t do it justice.”

Hotel Anfield
Hotel Anfield is very similar to its neighbour Hotel TIA, as it is also packed on matchdays and has a large outdoor area. Its mixture of single occupancy and multi-occupancy rooms, alongside its outdoor marquee, make it a popular place to stay too, with children staying for free.
It has a four and a half star rating on TripAdvisor from 42 reviews. One person who stayed said: “This has to be the friendliest and most helpful hotel I have ever stayed at.”

Another venue on Anfield Road, The Arc is a modern hotel with a range of rooms available from £135 per night with bed and breakfast rates also available. It boasts a five star TripAdvisor rating from over 100 reviews, with one user writing: “Excellent hotel. Welcoming attentive staff. Couldn't fault anything.”

Specialising in bed and breakfasts, this hotel is located just 100 yards from the stadium. Prices start from £35 per night and free parking is available.

If you’re looking for somewhere in town that has much more of an Everton theme, this place may be perfect for you. Named after the legendary Everton goalscorer, The Dixie Dean boasts a four and half star TripAdvisor rating from over 500 reviews.
It has a range of rooms available, including party suites. It is around 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bus from the stadium.

The Resident is ideal if you're planning a big night out in Liverpool after the gig. It can be found on Seel Street, right on top of the most popular nightclubs and bars.
It has been given a 4.5 rating on TripAdvisor from over 6,000 reviews. One reviewer said: "Everything was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for a city break, for us it is the best hotel in Liverpool and will certainly return."
Another added: "Hotel was perfect, great location in the heart of the social area close to loads of bars and restaurants." It is located 15 minutes from Anfield by car and 30 minutes via public transport.
