Online retailer Ego is selling a new bag which looks very similar to one sold by a designer brand – but for around £2,453 cheaper.
If there’s one brand shoppers love to snap up, it's Louis Vuitton – but its bags would usually set you back hundreds – if not thousands – of pounds. Its Utility Cross-Body Bag is a popular option, though it does have a price tag of £2,480.
Ego, an online fashion retailer selling everything from clothes and accessories to jewellery and shoes, has a cheaper alternative. The site is selling a bag for £27 and it looks very similar to Louis Vuitton’s Utility Cross-Body Bag.

Both bags are similar in shape and feature a number of bold pockets along the front, with gold zips. They both also have a long strap with a smaller purse attached However, the Louis Vuitton currently only stocks the bag in black, while the Ego version is brown.
While the Louis Vuitton bag would set shoppers back around 2,480, the Ego Tate multi pocket and purse detail cross body bag costs £27. This means shoppers could save around £2,453 by opting for the dupe.
