The River Mersey hosted a fantastic water ballet by the iconic cruise ships
Liverpool has hosted some unforgettable events through the years – and the Cunard's Three Queens celebrations definitely makes the list.
The Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2 visited Liverpool between May 24 to 26, 2015, for the 175th anniversary of the famous cruise line. The River Mersey hosted a fantastic water ballet by the iconic cruise ships as part of the 175 years celebrations.
At the time, thousands of people lined the coastline for the historic event honouring the birth of Cunard in Liverpool, with the Three Queens visit also being part of the Mersey River Festival.
