The stunning Light Before Christmas show has returned to Liverpool Cathedral this festive season.
Following a successful run in 2022, The Light Before Christmas: The Manger is returning to the Anglican Cathedral between December 1 and 8. The immersive sound and light experience, brought to the cathedral by Luxmuralis, takes you on a journey through the nativity story.
The cathedral encourages people to lie on the floor in the main hall to take in beautiful projections on the ceiling. Last year the event was a "sell out" and became a must visit event in the city.

Sessions start from 4.30pm and last for around 40 minutes with tickets costing £9.90 for adults and £7.70 for children aged from 3 to 16. Entry for children under three is free when accompanied by an adult, but you must book a ticket.
Family tickets (two adults and three children) are £28.60. This year there will also be two sensory shows, where sound will be reduced and each show lasts just 15 minutes.
According to Liverpool Cathedral, the majority of the show route is on one level on the main floor of the Cathedral. Staff will be on hand to help anyone with accessibility support needs.
This year The ECHO was given an exclusive sneak peek of the exhibition the day before it opened to the public. Here are 13 stunning pictures of the exhibit.
